Hollywood, CA – For Hip-Hop hybrid B.O.S.S. Champs, whose stage name is derived from his late brother’s music promotion company (BOSS of BOSSES) and nickname from his late Disc Jockey father (Champs), music has always come easily. What started out as a career centered around film would later lead to his career path in music. In his earlier career in 2011, he began heavily working on a film project along with James White, who coincidentally was the writer behind hit film “Ray”. As he vigorously worked away with the film project, he found himself in a variety of roles such as acting, writing, and producing. Though the artist enjoyed having a hand in the creative process behind the film, unfortunately to his dismay, the project was shelved eight days before production. B.O.S.S. Champs wasted no time in succumbing to defeat, as he quickly picked up recording music. Since then, one can say the rest is history.

His natural musical and recording abilities caught the attention of the fellow writer, which repeatedly encouraged the artist to continue with this newfound talent. In turn, the hip-hop hybrid put his creative abilities to work as he produced original content. From then on, his music career never ceased in developing. When asked what sets him apart from other artists, he is quick to remark his “cinematic approach to storytelling.” “My best asset is my writing abilities,” said B.O.S.S. Champs. “In music, there are only a handful of people needed to tell the story.” As the artist realized how he had more control over his storytelling passion through music, he decided to make it his main focus.

B.O.S.S. Champs continued to work tirelessly, and soon released his first EP titled “Past Due” in the summer of 2015 with single “Vicky Secrets”. This EP was significant for the artist, as it was based around the music he made for his previous film project. Following the release of “Past Due” was his next project, titled “BO$$$YN.” This EP heavily showcased the artist’s hip-hop side, especially through the track “DEEP End'”. What kept him going was all of the support and appreciation for the new music he was putting out, as the people surrounding him encouraged him to continue dropping more hit records.

B.O.S.S. Champs has some exciting news for his fans, which is the upcoming release of his third EP, “Caribbean Casanova”, which possesses an authentic reggae vibe. He has been teasing the single, “Mi Wan U”, on social media here and there, further amping up his followers for the impending release. After filming the visuals for the music video in April, B.O.S.S. Champs is anxiously elated to share his latest project with his fans. B.O.S.S. Champs will be performing at The Airliner, 10pm Tuesday July 25th in Los Angeles in addition to staying busy as he plans his EP Release party in August.

There is definitely something special about this artist, and he can’t wait for the future as he grows his career and fanbase. Make sure to stay tuned for the release of his EP, which will be available by the end of July on all major digital music platforms!
