What is the significance of your name?
Autto came about when I was in middle school. My name was automatic at first. Me and my friends had a rap group called the wild boys. The way I rapped was on the spot and ready to spit. My friends would say that the way I rap is automatic. But by the time I reached high school I started taking music serious. So, I shortened Automatic to Autto.
What is your USP? (Unique Selling Proposition) and what sets you apart from other Hip Hop artists?
With my music I focus on women. I kind of use my sex appeal to keep my name out there. I’m different from other artists because I stay in my lane. I’m not worried about what other artists are doing. I just focus on me.
What single or project are you currently pushing?
I’m currently pushing my single “Act Right.”
What is the philosophy by which you live by?
My philosophy is never be content with mediocrity. Never settle for anything. Always want more and go after what you want.
Which artists have inspired you?
Artist who have inspired me are Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Kanye West, TI and Drake
If you can change one thing about the music industry what would it be and why?
If I could change one thing about the industry it would be to just keep it all about the music. I think the world gets caught up in artists’ personal lives so much. We cant just stay on what broughgt us to love that artist in the first place which is the music.
What is your album going to be like?
It will be full of energy. It will contain party music, and tracks for the ladies. The album will be about my experiences in life. The songs will make you want to hear every line over and over. It will be a classic!
