- SHORT BIOGRAPHY OF CHRIS MILLIONS.
Chris Millions birth name Christopher Anderson was born 11-04-1984 in Chicago, Illinois to Sharon Anderson a young single mother. Chris millions is the 1st of two boys and two girls who would later, also, come to love music. “growing up in Chicago I was exposed to a lot of jazz, soul music and blues… we even had a strong music program in school” --He says. “I also, had uncles who would come to the house and play a lot of music of the 70’s…I guess that acoustic sound inspired me to want to create pieces of my own.” so, he did.
Chris millions never learned to play any instruments in elementary or high school. However, he practiced his walk into his anointing by composing instrumentals on cheap keyboards. Chris admired drum and guitar players because those were the instruments he liked the most. “I also enjoyed listening to rapper “Twista”(Chicago native) because of the eerie sound and pain being described in his music” “All these things shaped my sound” ----he says. 1999, was the first year of high school for Chris millions. It would also be his freshman year behind a real keyboard owned by a friend(the Korg Triton).
He would later, move to Las Vegas with nothing but the clothes on his back after deciding that music would be the avenue for him to venture. “I thought that Vegas would be a more conducive environment for an inspiring producer”. Chris also had a few things going on that could have ultimately hindered him from achieving his dreams if the law had intervened. Las Vegas would be that new inspiration he had needed. The alias ‘Chris Millions’ would not be picked up until he graduated in 2003.
“A man is what he thinks of himself…that forces me to believe that we all shape the world around us with our thoughts”---he says in another statement.
From the time of his arrival to present day, Chris millions has been showcasing his talent publicly and on varies music sites. “despite years of no major success, I believe that creating music is the reason I was created…..that’s my inspiration daily.”
