- ALorious is known in the community for being trend setters with the potential of being a great influence in the hiphop/soul realm of musical culture. Their music is an infusion of The Roots meets Floetry meets Outkast! They have the power to impact and leave a lasting impression on everyone. ALorious has produced six open mic shows, one local celebrity, all-star birthday bash, Recorded 15 tracks for the Kadillak Music Mix Tape Series. Throughout 2007-2008, they have performed live for more than 70 shows, Including the TV One Pilot "The Last One Standing". In addition, ALorious was selected to take part in a Mid Atlantic 25 city tour slated to take off in September. ALorious was also asked by the luminary Brother Maniac to join the all-star line up to record the DMV Unity "Roll With Us" track. Currently their music can be heard on Can We Talk Radio, WKSH da beat radio, The Mental Salvation Show, W.O.W Radio, Revolt Radio and by request on WPGC 95.5 FM. They have worked with producers such as JT of Time 2 Jamm, who has produced for artists such as Mya and Tonya Blunt, Big Wyllz of Kadillak Musik, Dirty District, Alizedadrummer of Heavy Hands Productions, Reina Williams who has done production work for Television and Screen, Hitmaka and other local production gurus. In 2005 ALorious opened up for Bad Boy recording artist, Boy Group B5 at the back to school Jam. In 2007 they were invited to perform for the “Unsigned Hype Tour” for the Source Magazine. In 2007 they earned a combined 9 nominations and won best R&B recording for the 2007 DMV Entertainment and Music awards. In 2008, ALorious also featured in the double cover music issue of Sexy DC Magazine. In addition to their live shows they have recorded collaborations with over 20 local artists including: Da Committee (DC Clap), Shy Thoro (Baby Boy), Lady Blaze, Freight Train Records, Lyrik and Uptown Hunter. Their talent has formed into an ability to touch, entertain, and enlighten audiences. ALorious is currently in the studio finishing up their Debut Album "Temporarily Disconnected".
